Becky Mares is a highly experienced aviation attorney, advising clients in the acquisition, disposition, operation, leasing, and financing of new and pre-owned aircraft.

Becky's unique skillset, which combines hands on experience in an aircraft manufacturing company, an extensive understanding of mediation, and a passion for serving and helping people by solving problems, allows her to provide proactive, creative aviation solutions.

Prior to law school, Becky worked at Quest Aircraft Company alongside designers and builders of the KODIAK. During her time there, Becky took the initiative to enroll in the company's aircraft building program, where she learned about the aircraft design process, including riveting and cutting sheet metal, to better understand aircraft production. Her role included managing risk, liability, and domestic and international contracts. She was propelled to law school to further develop her skills and help individuals and companies complete aviation transactions.

Becky joined Quest Aircraft because she believed in the mission to build nine planes and give every 10th plane to a humanitarian mission aviation organization. She continues the concept of giving back to the community through her aviation practice at the firm today. She has written numerous aviation articles to raise awareness of human trafficking issues, serves in a variety of leadership positions for local organizations, and has a motto that sits at the root of all the work that she does on a daily basis: Use the Power of Aviation to Do Good.

Prior to joining JETREP, Becky was a principal attorney in the aircraft transactions practice group of a large law firm and previously was an attorney at a boutique law firm devoted to aircraft transactions.

Becky holds a Juris Doctor from University of Idaho College of Law and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She is admitted to practice in the States of Washington and Idaho.
